Visitors to IAA Commercial Vehicles 2018 were able to test a new VR training tool for car body painters at the EDAG stand: state-of-the-art technology transports car body painters into a virtual paint shop where, holding a real - though empty - paint gun, they can practice their painting technique under realistic conditions – wherever they are, and without wasting resources. An integrated feedback system supplies notes on paint thickness, spray angle and speed.
