VOLVO CAR CORPORATION – SUPPLIES OF WELDING FIXTURES

For Volvo Car Corporation and its subsidiary Polestar, the task was to create underbody welding fixtures for pilot production. This was an initial project that was implemented in constant dialogue with the customer. The subsequent small batch production on the fixtures takes place in Chengdu, China.

• Creation of clamping concepts in coordination with the customer 

• Ensuring the static accessibility of joining tools 

• Construction of the welding fixtures according to the metal properties and joining specifications 

• Component procurement and assembly of welding fixtures 

• Calibration of fixtures 

• Alignment of the fixtures on the customer's site 

• Creation and delivery of weld point templates
