The increasing complexity of vehicles and other technical devices demands for increased electromagnetic compatibility testing to ensure the electric parts do not influence other components negatively. The EDAG EMC testing center has state-of-the-art testing equipment that allows us to test cars, trucks an agricultural machines and more in compliance with the legal requirements. The EMC center test standards are not exclusive to Germany; vehicles and devices can also be tested and certified in legal compliance with international standards.
The test center for electromagnetic compatibility is TISAX-certified, offers the highest level of data protection and will also be accredited by the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
The CISPR publications deal with standardized disturbance measurement methods of electromagnetic disturbance. Numbers 12 and 25 refer to vehicles, boats and integrated combustion engines, 16 to radio interference more generally. Parallel to these, there are also European standards (EN 550xx) and DIN standards (DIN VDE 0879-1 and -2).
