KYOCERA DISPLAY – LOGISTICS CONCEPT FOR CHINA, EUROPE AND USA

Kyocera Display Europe GmbH supplies displays to car manufacturers worldwide, which process them in car production. In conjunction with Kyocera Display, EDAG PS developed a new logistics concept for China, Europe and the USA, which also includes the specification of the material flow and the handling and support costs.

In the process the following goals were achieved:

•  Determination of all relevant logistics data

• Definition of the internal material and information flows in the individual goods distribution centres

• Definition of transport and logistics costs over the life cycle of a vehicle - including the processes and costs for multipath handling in Germany
