Once a year, the EDAG Engineering specialists exchange the development of mobility for mobility in its literal sense. At this year's Rhönenergie Challenge Run, held on 20th May, 2017 in Fulda, the EDAG Group entered 147 Fulda-based runners who covered the almost 6 km course through the East Hessian baroque city. The EDAG team was one of the largest teams at the event, which attracted 7,300 participants.
The focus of the event is to get moving and have fun joining in a sporting activity together. "For this reason, we like to support this event, and encourage our employees to take part. For a long time now, it has been a fixed event in our health management calendar," explains Christoph Horvath, Press Spokesman of the EDAG Group.
The globally active company shows a deep interest in its employees, and in the course of the last few years has built up an extensive programme of health management activities. These range from sporting activities and a wide variety of seminars to annual info days covering various health-related aspects.
"Apart from sporting performance, the special thing about this event is the fact that teams participate together, and then join each other at the after-event party at Fulda's open air swimming pool," explains Horvath. "If the repeated positive response of our employees is anything to go by, the EDAG Group is sure to enter a large team again next year."
